Meet the chef
Originally from the North East of Scotland, Head Chef Andrew Gault has called the South Coast home for the past 19 years. With a culinary career that began in 1990, he has worked in prestigious kitchens around the world, including Gleneagles, the Burj Al Arab and Joël Robuchon in Monaco. Passionate about seasonal UK produce, his cooking style is simple and ingredient-led. Andrew also actively supports local food festivals, schools and colleges, inspiring the next generation of chefs and celebrating the exceptional ingredients found across the UK.

Just a few miles from Atlantic Gate, Powder Monkey Brewing brings history and innovation together on the Gosport waterfront. Housed in a restored 18th-century Royal Navy munitions site, the brewery draws inspiration from its maritime past to produce bold, contemporary beers with character. Their Bravo Zulu Pilsner, crisp, clean and perfectly balanced is one of our draught selections, offering a refreshing salute to craftsmanship and local heritage. With every pour, we raise a glass to our coastal roots and those pushing brewing forward.
